Michael is a highly skilled silversmith currently working from Somerset.  He is internationally acclaimed for his variety of artefacts and works of art.  He carves in precious metals and his works range from minute animals, motor bikes and tractors to larger items such as teapots, porringers, bowls and larger table centrepieces in silver.
 

His work has been shown in many exhibitions across the world. Examples of his work are to be found in collections in the  new jewellery room at The Victoria and Albert Museum, the medals collection at the British Museum and modern masterpieces in the vaults of Goldsmiths Hall.   He has completed commissions for both Westminster and Winchester Cathedrals, H.M. the Queen, and other members of the royal family and Jeff Beck.

As well as selling gold and silver pieces of his own design Michael also undertakes commissions, so if you have an idea please contact him.  He always applies the same degree of care and attention to detail to his commissions and work, large or small, in jewellery and silverware.

His work includes hundreds of designs and you will notice as you look around the site that he has a particular fondness for animals especially pigs but also other animals such as lions, frogs, dolphins, hedgehogs, elephants, hippos and even snakes.  He also has created many silver and gold suns and moons.  As you will see from the photographs on this page some of these items are tiny and require a lot of skill, and a steady hand.
